    Internet download/upload speeds may vary and are not guaranteed. Observed speeds may vary based on device connection & other factors outside the control of Service Electric Cable TV & Communications (SECTV). Stated speeds are up to subscribed to/stated speed and are not guaranteed. Downstream data speed may be affected by whether the data accessed is cached or non-cached; Internet-related factors, such as the location and configuration of each accessed server; internal network factors, including customer compliance with SECTV usage policies set forth in the High Speed Agreement; the level of overall traffic; and the customer’s computer configuration. In addition, the actual range and reliability of an in-home wireless network can be affected by a number of factors including WiFi router placement, obstacles, other electronics, and more.

    Equipment
    High-Speed Internet packages require a cable modem, which SECTV provides for a monthly rental fee, as well as one ethernet cable. Customers may use their own modem, however, SECTV is not responsible for performance, repair or configuration of customer owned equipment. Compatible equipment is available to lease at an additional monthly charge, and operation of leased equipment is guaranteed by SECTV. Leased equipment must be returned to SECTV if service is canceled. Unreturned rental equipment may be subject to a replacement cost.

    Installation
    During installation, if a data outlet or an excessive amount of internal wiring is needed, fees may apply in addition to standard installation fees. The SECTV technician will make you aware of these fees prior to proceeding with installation.

    Service
    Service offerings are contingent upon SECTV verification that the specific address covered by the service request is an SECTV serviceable location. Services, service features, promotions and packages are not available in all areas. SECTV reserves the right to change services, service features, packages, promotions and prices at any time. All sales are subject to a credit check. Other restrictions may apply. PenTeleData Community WiFi is available in specific public areas through the Greater Lehigh Valley.

    Fees and Billing
    All prices do not include installation charges, taxes and additional fees. Monthly rates are subject to applicable taxes, franchise fees and government-imposed charges and fees that may not be included in the advertised price. Installation and one-time fees may apply. Service fees are due each month on the date shown on the bill. SECTV has the right to suspend or disconnect service for non-payment of bills or for dishonored negotiable instruments e.g. returned checks. Unpaid balances and applicable recovery fees will apply in order for restoration of service. Any additional services, such as equipment and other tiers of service are subject to an additional charge and regular increases. No contract is required to receive our Internet service. No early terminations fees apply in the event service is terminated. Customer is responsible for any accrued service charges in the event service is canceled. You may be required to pre-pay one month of service pending a credit check. Commercial pricing may differ. All prices shown are for residential customers only unless specifically noted. Customers should be familiar with SECTV's billing rules in order to prevent billing disputes. The sooner a billing dispute is brought to our attention, the easier it will be to resolve. Billing issues must be brought to the attention of SECTV by contacting the Billing Department. Any disagreement or dispute concerning a bill must be made within 60 days of the billing date. Charges disputed after this period of time will not be considered negotiable.

    Policies and Terms
    IP traffic sent to customers on ports TCP 25, TCP 80, TCP 443, TCP 445, TCP 1080, TCP 6667-6669, TCP 1433-1434, TCP & UDP 135-139, TCP & UDP 67 are blocked for security and network management reasons to minimize customers’ computers from being virus infected through well-known vulnerabilities and/or to avoid infected or hostile computers from affecting other users' computers.
